COLLEGE STATION, TX (KBTX) – Texas A&M Athletics could soon receive millions of dollars in renovations to its facilities, including a new indoor football training facility.
The board will meet on Thursday morning to review the plan which also includes a new indoor track. It would go next to the Cushing Outdoor Track and Field Stadium.

Here’s a breakdown of some of the plans and price tags:
This indoor track facility would be budgeted at $ 55 million.
The Bright Complex redevelopment includes a new indoor soccer training facility, a new academic support center for student-athletes, renovations to the first and second floors, and the relocation of the Slocum Nutrition Center. This would be estimated at $ 125 million.
And 31 new suites are on offer for the south end of Kyle Field with an estimated price tag of $ 25 million.
According to Thursday’s agenda, Texas A&M would start a fundraising effort and before anything happens the 12th Man Foundation will need to provide half of the upfront costs as well as a quarter in the form of documented pledges. . If the proposal is approved, it will be added to the system investment plan for FY2022 – FY2026.
A new contract for athletic director Ross Bjork and two assistant baseball coaches are also on Thursday’s agenda.
