Fine Airport Parking Acquires Facilities at Two Houston Airports | News from local businesses

Fine Airport Parking, based in Tulsa, has purchased two off-airport parking lots in Houston.

The George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) properties are Fine’s third and fourth locations and the first expansion since opening a facility at the International Airport of Denver in 2017.

“After enduring unprecedented challenges in our industry over the past 18 months, Fine is excited to bring its brand of premium services and facilities to Houston travelers,” said Chris Amburgy, CEO of Fine, in a press release. “We plan to make significant investments in the acquired facilities and in our 50 new team members to provide a remarkable parking experience for our new Houston customers.”

The grounds of Fine George Bush Intercontinental Airport, previously operated by Preflight Airport Parking, cover 22 acres, contain 2,600 covered and uncovered spaces and are located 2.4 miles from the terminal. Fine plans to add additional services to the property, including a valet parking option later this year.

At William P. Hobby Airport, the Tulsa company acquired 930 vehicle space and a three-story garage 90 seconds from the terminal via a shuttle bus. Fine will launch a valet service option later this year and is expected to add a car wash and auto detailing services in early 2022.

Mike Fine founded the company in 1983.
