Complimentary wireless internet connection available. The guest information area will provide you with information about
events and activities, also brochures,
restaurant, gallery, and
shopping guides, maps of the island, and our personal favorite places.
~Aloha kakahiaka~
(good morning)
A new day begins, and as
the sun rises over the
pineapple fields, you can enjoy a
complimentary breakfast served in the first level turret. The
"ono grinds", as the locals would say, include a selection of
fresh island fruits, (some from our own trees), Kona coffee, teas, juices,
pastries, breads, island jams, and cereals and is served everyday except Sunday.
Bed and Breakfasts licensed by Maui County are prohibited
from doing their own cooking or baking, but you will find that with our warmer weather and your increased activity, a lighter breakfast is
preferred. If you need to catch an early activity boat or just want to sleep in, you can use the balcony kitchen to prepare an early or late breakfast.
The
bed and breakfast is within easy, flat walking distance to several beautiful
beaches, the Old Lahaina Luau, and the Lahaina
Cannery Mall, where you can do some
shopping or catch a trolley
for the one mile ride to downtown Lahaina or other places of interest on the
island.
Lahaina weather
Lahaina (merciless sun), is protected by the west Maui mountains and is famous for its beautiful weather year round. Even in the "so called" winter months when it may be raining just 5 minutes to the north or south, and breath taking rainbows hang over the mountains, it's nearly always blue skies and sunshine in Lahaina Town.
Imagine
At days end, step out on the full length balcony and watch a spectacular Maui sunset over the islands of Lanai and Molokai ~ bathing them in indescribable shades of waiole pua (violet), melemele (yellow), and ulaula (red). Between December and April, you may even see a humpback whale and it's calf celebrating the end to another perfect day in the warm, clear, turquoise water of the Auau channel. Watch the Maui moon rise, casting sailboats anchored just
offshore into sapphire silhouette. And while stars begin to appear in the evening sky, settle in to one of the big wicker chairs in the turret or a rocker on the balcony, and enjoy the sweet fragrance of the island pua (flower), and the soothing sounds of the gentle nalu (wave). Our Pool
The hemispheric size pool is filled with warm, clear, turquoise water and is teaming with vividly colored tropical fish. It goes all the way around the island and has approximately 120 miles of beach dotted with gently swaying palms and white, sandy
beaches. Who needs a pool when Maui has the most beautiful beaches in the world?
